Search the Media History Project

Find what you're looking for!
Terms to Search For:
Boolean: Case

Directions: Type in the words or phrase that describes what you're looking for in the above "Terms" box, then select the appopriate Boolean option.

For example, if you searched for "digital television" with the "and" option highlighted, the search engine would look for pages that contain both words. If you chose the "or" option the search engine would find all pages containing either the words "digital" or "television."

Case sensitivity: Case insensitive means the engine will look for "Digital" and "digital;" case sensitive means the engine will look only for the word exactly as you have spelled and/or capitalized it. (So if you are looking for "digital" in a case-sensitive search, the engine will ignore all instances of "Digital.")
